Santa Fe filmfest to receive ‘Do.Solo.Pin’

Iran’s ‘Do.Solo.Pin’ is to vie Santa Fe filmfest in US.

Iranian short film ‘Do.Solo.Pin’ has made its way to the Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.

The 22nd edition of the American fest will be screening Javad Atefeh’s award-winning short film.

‘Do.Solo.Pin’ is about the social life of a young woman who is giving care to an elderly man. The decisions the young woman makes are of course of consequences.

The short flick has already taken part in a number of global film events, including the Marina Del Rey filmfest and the Burbank filmfest, both in the US.

It has won a handful of awards such as the Best Narrative award at the Venice Short Film Awards in Italy and the Best Drama Short at the CFIFF film event in Australia.

The Santa Fe Film Festival is an annual event that “honors everyone working both on and off screen to bring the best of film creation, production and showings to the public”, the website of the event reads.

It “focuses on bringing together distinguished industry specialists and all movie lovers” through accessible screenings, panels, and workshops.

The upcoming edition of the Santa Fe Film Festival will take place on February 3-13.
